For this blog assignment you must do the following:
1) Click on this link and enter the email and password that was given to you in class.
2) You then must go through the 6 journal pages from your fellow students. Look them over carefully
3) After reviewing them you must choose 2 entries and comment on them. You may record or write you comments. YOU MUST ANSWER ALL QUESTIONS TO RECEIVE FULL CREDIT.
a) What attracted you to this student's journal entry and why?
b) Is there an Emphasis (Center of Interest or Shout) on the page?
c) How did the artist achieve this center of interest? Hint here: Contrast is important in achieving a center of interest. This can be done contrasting size, color, value (lightness or darkness), and texture. Placement on the page can also be a factor. Cite all that apply and why.
d) Though it may be perfect in your eyes, what would you add or do differently if it were your page?

More Journal Artists
Two more journal artists to look at this week. Look at both artists then write a response (minimum 1 paragraph) comparing the two artists.
Please talk about the similiarities and differences you see. Remember to discuss the Elements of Art: line, shape, color, value, and texture and where they're used. Also think about the design principle called Emphasis. How does each artist create a center of interest (Shout) or emphasis?
Tracy Moore (not Teesha Moore from last time!)
